But not only should you turn off the lights (and if you do light a candle soy or bee's wax please!) you should green your lighting, Try compact florescent bulbs and ditch the energy wasting incandescent light bulb. A fluorescent bulb can outlast up to 13 incandescent or halogen bulbs while 90% of the energy consumed by an incandescent bulb is wasted heat.
