I love that part in the Sound of Music and she was being totally green.....She recycled the curtains and turned them into play clothes, bloody brilliant!
I have finally gone over my Domino magazine with a fine toothed comb and have made a list of my favorite green things: The One hundred percent recycled aluminum foil from http://www.greenfeet.com/ they also have unbleached wax paper and plastic wrap which is PVC free. The solar flashlight from http://www.bogolight.com/, they are great because when you purchase one another goes to a relief group which helps light the way for African children and families to read at night (I must have one). Toothbrush and razor from http://recycline.com/. It is made from 100% recycled plastic with at least 65% Stonyfield farm yogurt cups. The Low flow shower head from http://www.americanstandard-us.com/, it uses 40% less water and is very stylish. Nail polish and remover from http://www.acquarellapolish.com/ that is free of formaldehyde, phthalates, toluene or other petrochemical solvents. Organic cotton fabric from http://www.modgreenpod.com/, it's silk screened with water based non-toxic ink. I love the Wee Jubilee print, I want it for my daughter's room!
